Dr. Maria Tamay

Dr. Maria Tamay is a restorative and aesthetic dentist who brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to patient care. She earned her doctorate from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed an AEGD residency with NYU Langone, where she expanded her training in comprehensive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She is also Invisalign certified.

Her approach goes beyond treating individual teeth. Dr. Tamay considers aesthetics, function, bite, airway health, and overall comfort when developing treatment plans, with the goal of creating results that feel natural, look beautiful, and support long-term health. She believes dentistry should feel approachable, personalized, and rooted in helping patients understand and feel confident in their care.

She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, and Queens County Dental Society.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tamay lives an active, wellness-focused lifestyle and strongly believes that health is wealth. She is a co-founder of THRIIVE Run Club in Queens and enjoys running, traveling, and participating in dental outreach initiatives that allow her to serve communities beyond the office.
