Dr. Maria Tamay is a restorative and aesthetic dentist who brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every patient she treats. She earned her doctorate from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed an AEGD residency with NYU Langone, where she strengthened her skills in comprehensive and cosmetic care. She is also Invisalign certified.

Her philosophy is simple: dentistry should feel approachable, elevated, and built around the whole person—not just their teeth. She focuses on function, comfort, and long-lasting beauty, helping patients feel better and smile with confidence.

She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the Queens County Dental Society.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll usually find her trying new restaurants, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.
